One Mile Walk – Takes approximately 20 minutes to complete.
Class will begin at 5:30 pm on Monday – Wednesday – Friday.

at 6:00 pm on Monday – Wednesday – Friday.

Cost for each class is $2.00 OR two cans of food as a donation for the food pantry.
Cans of food are recommended because you can use these cans as hand held weights while walking AND donate to a good cause.

Tai Chi Classes at the Scottsmoor Meeting Hall

Mondays 7:30 - 8:30 pm.

Students and prospective students, please note: Your Tai Chi teacher will have to take a class on Tuesday evenings beginning in March, so Tai Chi classes at the Scottsmoor Meeting Hall will be held on Monday rather than Tuesday from March 9th to May 4th.  Sorry for the inconvenience.  You are also welcome to take the class at Unity Church on South St. on Thursday evenings during that period if that is more convenient.  However, that class is a bit more advanced.

Don't know what the heck Tai Chi is and/or whether it is dangerous or hard?  Please come and watch one of our classes free or charge.  No one will try to talk you into signing up for anything.  Classes are pay as you go and come when you want to.  Our Tai Chi instructor has successful Tai Chi students as old as 87!  There is no required fitness level and the practice of Tai Chi is not dangerous.  Many doctors and physical therapists recommend Tai Chi for balance, leg strengthening, lowering of blood pressure and the relieving of stress.  And, don't forget, you'll be helping the Scottsmoor Meeting Hall to continue to be available to the citizens of Scottsmoor for other activities.
