Do Your Part!

We want to continue to keep the Scottsmoor Meeting Hall as part of the Scottsmoor Community, and be able to use it for activities, parties, classes, community yard sales, meetings, event rental and aid to our residents in case of emergency situations (such as a place to get hot water, food and a shower if residents have no power for an extended time.)  We can't do this if we cannot pay for the utilities and taxes on the building.  You can help by:

  1. Joining the Scottsmoor Community Association.

  2. Spreading the word to any groups you may be involved in that the Meeting Hall is rentable for events and only half price if the renter is a member of the Scottsmoor Community Association!

  3. Attend some of our activities and classes.

  4. Suggest or organize activities and/or classes that you would be willing to attend or lead at the Meeting Hall.

  5. Volunteer to help out with some of our activities so that we can continue to offer them.

  6. Take an ad for your business or organization on the Scottsmoor.org website.

We offer Tai Chi classes at the Scottsmoor Meeting Hall every Tuesday evening at 7:30.  To find out more about the many benefits of Tai Chi, click Here!  Forget driving to Titusville to go to exercise class!  You can do it right in your own neighborhood.

Mims / Scottsmoor Community Center

Unfortunately, the Salib property did not appraise for the amount agreed upon in our contract so it will no longer be considered as a potential site for the Mims/ Scottsmoor Community Center.

All of these events are sponsored by the Scottsmoor Community Association.  None of these events are possible without strong member support and dedicated individuals just like you.  The Scottsmoor Community Association would love to have you as a member.  Meetings are held on the 4th Monday of each month, and all meetings are open to the public.  Dues are only $10.00 per year, and members receive a free tee shirt along with the satisfaction of knowing that they are helping the community, as well as discounts off Meeting Hall rentals and other benefits.
